The rooms are comfortable and spacious, each with private shower and toilet. Although there are no cooking facilities, a fridge, kettle, coffee & tea facilities and dishes are provided in each room, as well as a television set.
The house is surrounded by a big sheltered garden with a salt-water pool and Braai area. It is located within walking distance of the beach, hiking trails in the mountains, tennis courts, bowling green and the golf course. Children above the age of 10 years welcome.
The renowned Arabella Golf Course at the Western Cape Hotel is only 8km away the one of the best whale watching locations in Hermanus only 20 minutes by car.
Kleinmond is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast, boasting its own 9-hole Kleinmond Golf Club - as well as an array of activities such hiking in the Kogelberg Reserve (easy walks to strenuous 2-day hikes), canoeing, bird watching, visiting the renowned Harold Porter Botanical Garden boasting the greatest variety of Fynbos, lazing on 8km of un-spoilt beach with it's recently obtained Blue Flag Status, as well as a variety of sports such as tennis, bowling, canoeing, horse-riding, etc.
A variety of good restaurants, a few pubs and shops ensure that the indoor enthusiast is also satisfied.
